After years of dreaming of opening and after 18 months of construction, they opened their doors on August 1, 2024. Located on the edge of the Enonkishu Nature Reserve, on Kileleoni Hill, in the North Mara ecosystem, Wild Hill is an architectural masterpiece, with living grass roofs, native landscaping that blends into the landscape. All water is collected on-site and powered by 100% solar energy. Much of the lodge has been built from recycled materials, including fence posts taken from the recently reclaimed and formed Mbokishu Nature Reserve, following the success of the neighbouring Enonkishu Nature Reserve. <\/p>\n\n
